The cross-dresser flick bomb!! - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
Robin Williams, why did you cross-dress as Mrs. Doubtfire? You are Mrs. Doubtliar, with a capital D. Why be a lady, when you can be a man in a celebrity boxing commercial? You eat like a black goat, dude!! You need a psychic woman all dressed in blue, red, and yellowish-white.

Mrs. doughtfire - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
I think this is a great family movie. Robin Williams acting was awsome! He was perfect for the role. It was one of the funniest movies I ever seen.
Honest comedy, but.... - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
I must say I had some fun when I watched the movie. It's although a very easy scenario with no less easier gags, and I must say I am no fan of Robin Williams, whose only really good performance might have been in Dead Poets Society (now that movie was very good).
Mrs. Doubtfire is an ok movie to watch when it is aired on TV...

This movie s so funny. I love it. 3 awards. Robin Williams stars as the dad who does not want to get divorced, because he loves his wife and kids. His wife Miranda wants to get divorced because she thinks Daniel is not responsible or serious. When Miranda is hiring a housekeeper Daniel dresses up as a lady so he can be with his kids. How long can he keep this up?

Mrs. doubtfire - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
I liked it. It showed that a father would do whatever he could to see his kids. I think the lesson was a little strange, but it was a good comedy. Robin Williams was funny, Sally Field was ok, and Pierce Brosnan was seen differently.
Nothing doubtful about this movie - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
It's a hit! Once again, Robin Williams, plays a perfect role in one of my favourite films growing up. Sally Field's other good movie, Mrs. Doubtfire had me laughing from start to finish and I hope it does the same for you.

Robin williams and pierce brosnan = a great movie - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
What will happen if you get together Robin Williams, Sally Field and Pierce Brosnan with directing of Chris Columbus????
A) One of the greatest funny moviest ever.
B) The movie full of improvize.
C) A lovely family film.
D) Box-office success.
And the right answer is? Everything!!!!
The story is the weakest thing in the movie, but just till the time, when you will see the costume of mrs. Doubtfire. So, even you maybe have seen man in woman?s costume and woman is man?s costume before, this will completelly suprise you. Cause Robin looks in some parts really like woman, really quite well. I think it got Oscar for the best costume too...
And wonderful are actors. It?s great, because there was Robin Williams and many people don?t know, that many of funny scenes wasn?t in the script and came from Robin?s head, when they were making the movie.
For example - do you remember, how was Pierce hit to the head by fruit near the swimming pool? The scene in the screenplay was something like: Pierce will say his words and go away. That was all. And Robin suddenly took the lemon or what it was and threw in to the PB. And it hit Pierce?s head. The Pierce "poor thing" Brosnan didn?t know anything about the fruit hitting his head!!! :-)) But he continued in playing like Robin and one of the most funny scenes was done.
Then scene when Pierce said: "Your accent is little kind of... muddled." And Robin responded: "Really? So is your tan!" This line wasn?t in the script too.
As well as... if you remember, when Robin?s teeth fell into glass of water. The scene had to finish, but Pierce and Robin took their spoons and started to get them out...
So this movie is full of the improvize. Mostly from Robin?s side, but from Pierce?s, Sally?s and children?s too. And in the script Pierce was the bad guy, he had to say something like he didn?t like the children and he?s with Miranda (Sally Field) only for the sex. But the director said this is not Pierce?s style and gave him role of right guy. And the truth is: I was the fan of himself, not Daniel played by Robin Williams!!! And if I?m right, in these days starting the continuation of Mrs. Doubtfire. But I?m not sure about Pierce?s and Sally?s role in it.
So my review??? The best William?s role and one of the funniest film, I?ve ever seen. Maybe the most funny. But I?m sure the movie ain?t so good for the script, but for the actors. Because they really did a bloody excellent job.
What a great movie! - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
This is a great movie to watch. It relates to everyone in some way. If your parents ever divorced, this is a great way to get over it. I've seen this movie about 10 times and it never gets old. If you see it once, you probaly would want to see it again. Each time you watch it, you catch something new that makes more sense. This movie is hilarious and you can see it on the channel "FX" on some weekends.
Loved it - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews

Funny as anything! - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
i DON'T KNOW WHY PEOPLE DON'T LIKE THIS MOVIE. OF COURSE IT WILL NEVER BEAT SOME MOVIES BUT OVERALL IT MADE ME LAUGH ALMOST THE WHOLE TIME. ROBIN WILLIAMS IS A GOOD ACTOR AND HE MADE IT REALLY FUNNY. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE MAKEUP AND THE STORY WAS VERY HEARTFELT AND TOUCHING BUT REALLY FUNNY. I JUST LOVED THIS MOVIE!
One of robin williams best roles. - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
I enjoyed it very much I thought it was one of Robin Williams best roles. He did a excellent job showing his different personalities and showing what different voices he can make. I think this shows how he is a comic genius.
A great nanny movie - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
Mrs. Doubtfire is a great movie about a father that wants to spend more time with his kids. So, he disguises himself as a British nanny that babysits them. This movie with make you laugh most of the time, but some scenes will have snoring. The acting is great! Robin Williams is a great actor because he can fool anybody. The mom is the only not-so-great actor. The directing is good, but he could've done better. The makeup is incredible. It makes Robin Williams really loook like a women. This is a great movie for children 12 and older. It contains scenes of sex-related material and brief strong language.

The review for mrs. doubtfire! - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
I loved this movie when i was younger. It was sad but in a good way. I never had a dad, so in this movie i still could feel the pain of the kids and so that means that this movie must have really captured me and not making fall asleep before i could see the beginning title of the movie. I liked this movie a lot.

Ms. peaches review - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
Mrs. Doubtfire was a movie you can learn from as, far family and dealing with relationships and divorce, family being there for one another for the love of the children. I learned the love a child is a powerful thing. We as, human should learn by now that, what i children see us doing they will think that, is how life is to be. If we don't want our children to learn the wrong thing then, should teach them the right thing about life journey's.

Family oriented - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
This movie portrays a divorced family in a great way. It shows a mixture of the seriousness of the situation, yet provides that humor as well. This movie portrays divorce as not all that bad, as long as the parents involved are in agreement about how the children are raised. It also shows that none of the children are at fault, and that neither of the parents should be totally at fault.
Impecable performance by williams - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
This is by far the most impressive performance by a comedic actor that I have seen. Robin Williams did an incredible job portraying an old English Woman who was selected to babysit his own kids. There are many talented actors, but there are few that can hold a character of another age catogory and gender for a whole picture. Everything about the way Robin Williams acted as the old granny would be true to anyone in that situation. If you dont like anything else in this film, Williams role alone will make you laugh.
Great funny movie - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
The funniest movie ever!!! Deserves to be nominated!!! Funnier than funny I could see it a million times!!! Anyone that disagrees must be really boring and not paying attention!

One of my all time favorites - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
"Mrs.Doubtfire" is one of my all time favorite movies. I must have seen it about 40 times and it never get's old, it's still as funny to this day as it was the first time that I ever saw it. This movie is just so great, it will never ever get old to me. Robbin Willams is such a great actor and he delivers his best peformance in this movie. Sally Feild and Perice Broston are also really good. The story is great - funny, sad, happy at the time. I still cry when I see this movie. It just so great. If any one sees this movie and does not like it they need to get some help.
Robin williams best movie - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
Funny comedy about an irresponsible father (Robin Williams) who dresses in drag to see his three children. His ex-wife (Sally Field) thinks that he is visiting only on Saturday's, but the whole time, Daniel is in the house with her. Daniel proved that he would stoop that low just to be with his children everyday. I think that the mother was a little too vindictive, high strung, and didn't know how to have fun. All in all, a funny comedy from 1993.
Oscar-worth-loved it lots review!!! - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
How far would a normal father go to see his kids? Would he undergo four and half-hours of makeup to transfer himself into a nanny? Daniel Hillard (Robin Williams) loved his kids more than anything. Most times, he spoiled his kids a little too much.
One day, Daniel gets fired from his job, a voice animator, which had been on the rocks for moths. The workaholic mother, Sally Field, gets fed up with her husband?s foolish behaviors and applies for a divorce. Since he rarely sees the love of his life, his kids, he comes up with the idea to work for his ex wife and kids as overweight, old, loving Swedish nanny. How long will this incredible disguise be a secret?
This enjoyable comedy and drama is great for any age. Adults loved Mrs. Doubfire as much as kids did! Go rent it and see Mrs. Doubtfire with your family! The amazing actors were extremely real and phenomenal! As the director, Chris Columbus handled all of the responsibilities and ironed out any mistakes. It is very obvious that this is one of Chris Columbus?s best ever! This 4-star movie lifts you into Daniel Hillard?s hilarious life!
Overall, this 124 minute, PG, suspenseful, superb comedy is a must-see movie. So what are you waiting for? Mrs. Doubtfire is at your local movie rental store calling your name!

Excellent and touching - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
In my humble opinion, kids movies don't get better than this one! Robin Williams really outdid himself in this role, the astounding range of emotions displayed in this movie should act as a monumental inspiration to other actors and actresses. I rate this as high as it can get for the simple fact that I laughed and I cried and I really felt the entire range of feeling.

I thought it was supposed to be funny... - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
I had hoped that this was going to be a comedy when I went to go see it but I was surprised to see that the movie had more drama than comedy. On top of that, the ending was quite depressing to me. Of course the movie had it's bright moments but I didn't expect it to be so serious and that killed it for me.

Touching and a heart warming comedy. Robin Williams is so funny! When a fater who is not really that responsable, his ex-wife keeps her kids away from him. To see them again he fakes himself that he is a babysitter. This movie has amazing visuals! One thing that sucked about this movie is the direction. Mrs. Doubfire is a great comedy for everyone.

Robin's best film - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
Robin Williams is hilarious in this film, and this is probably his best film ever. A father (Williams) poses as a 60+ year old nanny to be with his children, after his ex-wife (Sally Field) only allows him weekend visitations. He is able to fool alot of people, but how long can he manage to keep it up?
Robin at his best! - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
This is an amazingly funny movie with a heart-warming story. This is by far Robin Williams best movie. Mrs. Doubtfire has you laughting, crying and feeling genuinly happy throughout the whole movie.
Harry poppins - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
Is there anything more funny than a guy in drag? Well, yeah. There are funnier things, but "Mrs. Doubtfire" charms and humors the audience without ever becoming boring.
Daniel Hillard (Robin Williams) has just quit his job as a voice actor. He is so carefree that he forgets that he has a family to support.
Daniel's wife, Miranda (Sally Field), decides enough is enough after he has an impromptu birthday bash for his son. The final verdict is that the kids can see their father on certain days.
That just isn't good enough for Danny. He signs up to become the children's babysitter, but in disguise. He is now the warm looking and kindhearted Mrs. Doubtfire.
Mrs. Doubtfire wins the hearts of Miranda and her children. Danny's making money off of babysitting for the kids he loves and some cash from his other job. His home is more and more presentable, and he can cook! Everything is going great. That is, until Miranda finds a new boyfriend (Pierce Brosnan)...
It's sad that this is one of Robin Williams's more memorable roles. People should look into his great performances in "Awakenings," "The Fisher King," and "Good Will Hunting," for which he won an Academy Award.
If any of you freaks enjoy drag comedies, then this movie is definitely for you. Two of the crossdressing comedies I've seen, besides "Mrs. Doubtfire," are "Some Like It Hot" and "Tootsie." Both of those films are classics and are highly recommended.
Mrs. doubtfire....is on fire!! - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
This is my all-time favorite movie. It never fails to make me laugh, and sometimes cry at the end.
Robin Williams plays a newly-divorced father who is trying to see his kids more often. He dresses up as a old nanny (with the plastic face and dress! lol) and applies for the job offered by his former wife.
Through the movie, Williams is trying to keep his "secret life" under cover, while balancing his "real life".
Mrs. Doubtfire, you get an A+ !!!

Hysterical!laugh out loud funny!charming! - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
Mrs.Doubtfire is as funny as you can get.Robin Williams and Sally Field are the perfect parents. The story is about a man who is going through a divorce with his wife and decides to dress like a English nanny to be with his kids. The children are sweet and this is the perfect film that parents and children will love to watch together.

Mrs doubtfire - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
Robin Williams is a man of many faces. The movie is funny and richly entertaining. The children's partes are a little under acted but an over all good movie.
The best comedy of the 1990s - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
Robin Williams can make you laugh, he can make you cry, and he can even make you think. "Mrs. Doubtfire" is his best performance to date and also the funniest film of the 90s. Daniel Hillard (Williams) is a father of three who is very much a kid himself. After throwing a birthday party for his 12 year-old son who is failing in school, his angered and upper-class wife Miranda (Sally Field) files for divorce. Their yelling scene in the kitchen is one of the great dramatic moments in the movie. The courts decide to award full custody to Miranda for three months until Daniel can prove he is a suitable parent. This won't do for Daniel has to see his children more then once a week. He decides to go to his gay brother, a makeup artist, and transform himself into a 65 year-old woman and pose as a nanny Miranda needs to look over the kids. Not only will he be able to hang with them, but he also will be getting $300 a week. The disguise works and the rest is movie magic. "Mrs. Doubtfire" is 125 mins. yet feels too short. I wanted more when it ended. Williams has such talent here. His voices are hilarious and Mrs. Doubtfire is a scream. Sally Field also does a very good job as Miranda Hillard, who seems upset that just because she's an organized woman people detest it. People, that is, except Pierce Bronsan, her new boyfriend Daniel is mad jelous of. Field's anger scene in the finale in a restaurant is True Sally Field. Great film, the best of the comedy genre in the 90s.
Mrs. doubtfire was the best!!! - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
This is an amazingly funny movie with a heart-warming story. This is by far Robin Williams best movie. Mrs. Doubtfire has you laughting, crying and feeling genuinly happy throughout the whole movie. I LOVED the movie! It was GREAT!
Mrs. doubtfire - Mrs. Doubtfire Reviews
Mrs. Doubtfire was so funny. This movie is touching and a heartwarming comedy. Robin Williams plays a father who is not really that responseable. To see his kids again after the and his wife got got divorced, he tricks his wife that he is a babysitter. In this movie the visuals are so fantastic!! The make up is so incredible. The problem in this movie is that the direction is not all that good. Yet still a fun and heartwarming. It's also sad the of this movie.
